Walmart's best deals this week include major savings on Bissell, Ninja, KitchenAid and more

As far back as I can remember, I always wanted to be a smart shopper, like the markdown mavens in my neighborhood. It meant being a somebody in a world of nobodies. They never paid full price for anything; they did whatever they wanted. When retailers saw them coming, they pointed out all their best deals. Know why? It was outta respect! The best Walmart deals this week have me thinking about those days...

This 4-speed oscillating fan — it goes this way, then it goes that way, and you're, like, "Whaddaya want from me?" Walmart wants only 60 bucks, down from $280. You may think it's funny to score a mini chainsaw for as little as $31 ($29 off)? Like, funny how? Does this discount amuse you? What's so &%#*!-ing funny about a deal like this just in time for fall pruning? Fall also means lots of tasty, hearty family meals. A friend of ours has this wonderful system for doing the garlic. He uses a razor, and he slices it so thin that it liquefies in the pan with just a little oil. It's a very good system. Know what else is good? This 20-piece set of nonstick cookware for $68, down from $200 (65% off!). Seriously, don't live your life like a schnook — grab some of these steals.

FYI, and BTW: 35 years ago this week, Martin Scorsese's Goodfellas opened in New York and L.A.

Offering crisp HD resolution, you'll enjoy watching all your favorite movies, shows and more anywhere you go, including the backyard. Leaf blowers make raking a thing of the past, but many models are heavy, require corded power, blow off noxious exhaust or suffer from any number of other inconveniences. This highly rated fave offers a lightweight, clean-running, cordless alternative that makes tackling the peskiest of yard chores a fall breeze.

Our reviewer wrote of the viral-favorite super-scrubber, "It's conveniently water-resistant, with a small brush head that is designed to fit into tight corners and small spaces — think grout lines, faucets, window edges, tire crevices. ... Now that I've seen the wonders the Rubbermaid Reveal can work on stained grout, I'll be using it for pretty much any cleaning chore involving scrubbing."
