Selena Gomez will soon be a Mrs. — she and Benny Blanco are reportedly gearing up to say “I do” at an ultra-private, star-studded ceremony on Saturday, Sept. 27, in Montecito, Calif.
While neither has confirmed the date of their nuptials, there have been reports that their wedding weekend is well underway: according to TMZ, a white marquee was installed on a sprawling Montecito estate, along with a nearby dark gray canopy, where Gomez and Blanco are said to exchange their vows.
Guests will reportedly be taken to the wedding location via shuttle, in an effort to keep its whereabouts concealed from paparazzi. Details surrounding the guest list remain under wraps, though Paris Hilton confirmed her attendance to Access Hollywood after her sister, Nicky Hilton, accidentally revealed the news. Gomez’s Only Murders in the Building costars Martin Short and Steve Martin, who have both publicly voiced their excitement about the upcoming wedding, will more than likely be in attendance on Saturday. Taylor Swift, Gomez’s longtime bestie, is believed to be attending as well.
As for accommodations, Gomez and Blanco’s guests will reportedly check into the El Encanto hotel, which clocks in at around $3,500 a night, per Page Six. Snoop Dogg, who previously collaborated with Blanco on the 2022 track “Bad Decisions,” is also said to be hosting the couple’s wedding reception, according to Daily Mail.
“It’s wonderful,” Gomez recently gushed about planning her big day. “I’m very lucky. It’s going well. I’m so excited.”
Ahead of Saturday’s nuptials, we’re rounding up every detail Gomez has shared about her wedding festivities, from how she spent her Bachelorette party to who she’s assigned as ring bearer.
She doesn’t want a wedding cake
In an interview for her brand, Rare Beauty, Gomez discussed some do’s and don’ts for her wedding menu. Do serve biscuits and gravy. Don’t serve wedding cake.
“Whenever that day comes, I do know I don’t want a big cake,” Gomez said in July. “I think I’d want a mini one for just us that we can freeze. My preferred dessert would be biscuits and gravy. My Nana’s biscuits and gravy, that sounds like dessert to me.”
She consulted Pinterest for wedding inspiration
While her wedding look is still a total secret, Gomez previously told Allure that she usually scrolls through Pinterest for makeup inspiration before presenting her ideas to Hung Vanngo, her longtime makeup artist. The photo-sharing platform is also where she curated ideas for her wedding day.
“If I find [a makeup look] I like on Pinterest, I lean into that, and I’ll get a suggestion from Hung and combine it all,” she told the magazine for its September cover story. “I have all my [Pinterest] folders of inspiration for the wedding, for cooking, for style.”
Her ‘Only Murders in the Building’ costar will be her ring bearer
During an appearance on The Tonight Show earlier this month, Gomez revealed to host Jimmy Fallon that her ring bearer for the big day is none other than her Only Murders in the Building costar Martin Short.
“Of course they are,” Gomez said of Short and fellow Only Murders costar Steve Martin being invited to the wedding. “Marty’s the ring bearer.”
Short added, “We are all so excited because we love this lady.”
On The Drew Barrymore Show in April, the “Call Me When You Break Up” singer said she also hopes Short will give a speech at the wedding.
“Marty is due to give a speech,” she said. “I told him he must. Steve [Martin] will probably pull out his banjo, but I feel like Marty would have an epic speech.”
She had a dreamy bachelorette party in Cabo
No wedding is complete without a bachelorette bash! Gomez shared a series of photos on Instagram from her dreamy girls’ trip to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, in late August.

Joined by her close friends Racquelle Stevens, Courtney Lopez, Ashley Cook, Connar Franklin Carpenter and her cousin, Priscilla DeLeon, Gomez enjoyed a weekend of sunbathing and candlelit dinners, along with a beach-set screening of Wedding Crashers. The carousel of photos includes one of Gomez lounging in front of balloons that read “Mrs Levin.”
Her engagement ring is inspired by her 2015 single
Gomez and Blanco set the internet ablaze in December 2024, when they announced their engagement on Instagram. The duo began dating in mid-2023, though they’d been friends and collaborators long before that. News of their engagement came a year after they first went public with their relationship.
Alongside the caption, “forever begins now..,” Gomez debuted her bespoke marquise diamond engagement ring, which weighs five to eight carats and costs more than $225,000, according to Elle.
The ring, per Gomez and Blanco, was inspired by her 2015 “Good for You” lyric I’m in my marquise diamonds/ I’m a marquise diamond.”
Gushing about the ring in their joint Interview profile in January, Gomez said, “Ever since the ‘Good for You’ days — that was, gosh, so many years ago — that’s the diamond I’ve always dreamed of.”
