No. 19 Alabama cruised to a 38-14 victory over Wisconsin on Saturday afternoon inside Bryant-Denny Stadium.
Kalen DeBoer and his staff hosted a nice crop of 2027 and 2028 recruits for this one.
“My experience at Alabama has been great so far,” Rivals Industry four-star athlete Braden Gordon said. “What continues to excite me is the crowd and atmosphere for such an early game and non-conference.”
Alabama is the early Rivals Prediction Machine favorite for the four-star Gordon.
“The things that make it a great place to play football is the town, it’s a football town and when it comes to development it doesn’t get to much better and when you look at the weight room and coach you see why.”
Alabama is getting ahead with the touted 2028s in the stands.
“My experience has been amazing so far,” Rivals No. 1 sophomore running back Zaiden Jernigan said. “I’m excited to continue and build relationships with everyone here.”
Jernigan added that he loved the environment and the culture around the program.
“I think the guys are trying to continue the winning tradition and don’t want to be the group to fail expectations,” Jernigan said.
The Rivals Industry’s No. 3 2028 linebacker Nehemiah McCary says Alabama is his early leader.
“The energy and how the coaches interact with the players,” McCary said of what stands out.
The Crimson Tide are keeping tabs on Raleigh (NC) Cardinal Gibbons linebacker Skylar Alston.
“The environment and the walk of champions really stands out to me,” Alston said. “Walking in the same footsteps of some of the greatest people to play and coach the game. Coach Chuck (Morrell) and I have a great relationship.
“Bama is a special place.”
