Through his first three career starts at the Major League Baseball level with the Milwaukee Brewers, Jacob Misiorowski made history. The youngster started his run by not allowing a hit through 11 innings.
In all, Misiorowski tossed 16 innings, allowing just three hits with two earned runs and 19 strikeouts. However, that all changed against the New York Mets on Wednesday.

Misiorowski went just three-plus, allowing five hits with five earned runs, including a grand slam to Brandon Nimmo. He struck out two batters, throwing 72 pitches with just 43 going for strikes.
— SportsCenter (@SportsCenter) July 2, 2025There is absolutely no reason to panic as fans of the Brewers or Misiorowski. He is going to have games where this happens because he is going up against the best in the world.
Misiorowski is just 23 years old and still learning what he is fully capable of. The 6-foot-7 righty is going to look more like the ace who silenced the Pittsburgh Pirates, Minnesota Twins and St. Louis Cardinals than the one who got put through the ringer by the Mets.
