Alexander Hernandez brutally knocked out Diego Ferreira — more than once — at Noche UFC.

Hernandez picked up his second consecutive knockout victory in less than a month as he faced Ferreira in a main card lightweight matchup in San Antonio on Saturday. After a slow start to the fight, which was mentioned many times by color commentators Daniel Cormier and Dominick Cruz, Hernandez landed a big shot that dropped Ferreira, and led to the finish. While the knockout, and Hernandez’s resurgence was a big story of the fight, it was local referee Jeff Rexroad that stole the headlines after allowing Ferreira to take way too much punishment, as he was knocked out multiple times during the vicious, fight-ending flurry.

With the win, Hernandez now finds himself on the longest win streak of his UFC career at four straight victories. Prior to the hometown win on Saturday, Hernandez knocked out Chase Hooper at August’s UFC 319 event.

Check out how UFC and MMA pros reacted to the finish, and the more-than-questionable late stoppage from Rexroad below.
