WCG Predicts Chicago Bears vs Detroit Lions

Below you will find our WCG contributors’ roundtable predictions for the Chicago Bears vs. the Detroit Lions this Sunday at 12:00pm CST.

Gooch: Game score 28-21, Bears. 340 yards passing for Caleb - 2 passing TDs, one to Rome. Montez Sweat posts 1.5 sacks. Goff: an interception (to JJ), fumble, two passing TDS. Gibbs rushes for over 100 yards. Monty notches their other TD. Bears go 60 minutes without a false start.

Lester: Bears lose a close one, 24 to 22, but Caleb plays a more consistent game from start to finish. D’Andre Swift also looks better, as the Bears look to slow the game down while emphasizing the run. Kyle Monangai gets in on the action, and Colston Loveland gets a touchdown.

Bryan: 27-24 Lions. Goff throws 2 TDs (ARSB & Gibbs) and Monty punches another one in. Goff also throws a pick on a batted ball to Brisker and loses a fumble on a sack from Dexter. Caleb throws 2 TDs himself, 1 to Kmet and another to Zaccheus. RoJo punches one in for the Beloved, but Jake Bates goes 2-2 while Santos’ struggles continue, and he only makes 1-2 FGs.

ECD: Bears 27 Lions 23 - This will be another tight game as Ben Johnson tweaks the ground game and the defense returns to (almost) full health to keep the Lions offense in check.

Ryan: Lions take this one, 31-24. Caleb plays steady for the full game and hits some deep shots, finishing with close to 300 yards passing and 2 TDs. Unfortunately, the Lions get their mojo back on offense this week and Goff looks like last year’s Goff.
