Chile will be joining the party from September 27, as the 24th edition of the U20 World Cup kicks off.

The African continent will be represented by four nations in this tournament, including the reigning African champions South Africa, as well as Egypt, Morocco, and Nigeria.

Argentina's Javier Saviola remains the tournament's all-time top scorer with a remarkable haul of 11 goals, ahead of Brazil's Adaílton (10 goals) and Norway's Erling Haaland (9 goals).

With 7 goals to his name, Ghana's Dominic Adiyiah stands as the highest-scoring African player in U20 World Cup history.
