Coach Massimiliano Canzi gave his thoughts after the Juventus Women's First Team fell to a 1-0 loss at home to Lazio on Matchday 2 of the 2025/26 Serie A Women's Cup.

"This is the Lazio we expected," Canzi said. "They played their game, which is a clear and decisive way of player. We needed to do more in the final third, when you have three or four chances you have to take one, to make them count. We have to learn from this and understand that we cannot always dominate games. It's only getting harder because the level is always rising. Lazio will surely be a top-half team this year, and to win games like this you need to play really well.

"We came into this comeptition with the idea of winning it, and we'll give our all to compete until the very end. We have to do well and work on our mistakes, losing matches like this always brings that sense of anger. If we don't make it through the group it would be a huge disappointment."
