NXT stars show up on SmackDown coming for the WWE women’s tag team titles

WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair need some new challengers on the blue brand after recently retaining the gold against Chelsea Green’s Secret Hervice.

On tonight’s (Sept. 26) episode of SmackDown, Bliss and Flair were backstage watching on as Kiana James and Women’s United States Champion Giulia won a tag match against Michin and B-Fab. I thought that was going to be WWE’s tease for their next challengers. However, NXT Women’s North American Champion Sol Ruca and Zaria suddenly barged into the scene asking for a shot at the gold.

It turns out that Ruca and Zaria have an even harder time getting along than the Allies of Convenience do, so they still have to prove they deserve a title shot.
