The best brother tag team rivalry isn’t over quite yet. The Nemeths are cashing in their TNA tag title rematch on the Hardys for next week on Impact.

Nic Nemeth made his return from suspension last week to ambush the Hardys. The message was clear that the Nemeths were coming for the tag team gold that they lost in a ladder match at Slammiversary.

This week, the Nemeths competed against the System in the main event on Impact (Sept. 11, 2025). Nic and Ryan were victorious over Brian Myers and Eddie Edwards thanks to shady tactics from Order 4. Edwards was sizing up Nic for the Boston Knee Party, then Order 4 rushed to the ring to cause a distraction. Edwards initiated contact for a suicide dive onto the Great Hands. Upon re-entering the ring, Nic took advantage for the Danger Zone finisher to win.

The Nemeth bros gloated in victory then invoked their contractually obligated rematch for next week. The Hardy Boyz answered the call with attitude, so the Nemeths retreated.

The Hardys have a busy schedule upcoming in TNA. Next week is the world tag team championship defense against the Nemeths. Matt and Jeff have no opponents yet for Victory Road on September 26, so we’ll see if any shenanigans result in another round with the Nemeths. The Hardys are also booked to wrestle Team 3D one last time at Bound For Glory on October 12. There has been no mention about the tag team titles for that legends match, and it doesn’t really need the gold to sell the bout. Time will tell if the Hardys are still champions when it’s time to clash with Bully Ray and D-Von.
