New seasons bring new fashion trends, and this fall, it's all about wearing rich, dark brown. Well, more specifically, Pantone's color of the year, "mocha mousse." Sure, dark, moody colors for fall aren't totally groundbreaking, but if your closet is cloaked in black sweaters, jeans and jackets, it may be time to try warming things up with some chocolate- and coffee-colored items. It's another neutral, after all. This timeless hue has been spotted on celebs from Katie Holmes to Martha Stewart, and now you can copy the chic look with your own mocha pieces from Nordstrom.

We spotted everything from chunky turtlenecks and cardigans to boots and bags, all in the season's "it" color. Create monochromatic looks with mocha mousse pants and tops, or incorporate the color into any outfit with an accessory. Keep scrolling for some of our favorite ways to wear fall's most popular shade.

Coach's Brooklyn Bag is effortlessly cool and surprisingly practical — it's big enough to carry all of your essentials and then some. Model Bella Hadid first helped catapult the slouchy tote into the spotlight when she was spotted carrying a black leather version over the summer, and then (of course) it went viral on TikTok and Instagram amongst fashion influencers.

The maple brown shade is especially popular for the fall because it goes with everything.
