Jake Paul and Tank Davis are heading a little further south for their fight.
Most Valuable Promotions announced Wednesday that Paul vs. Davis is set to take place at Kaseya Center in Miami on Nov. 14. The exhibition bout was originally scheduled to take place in Atlanta, but the Georgia Athletic and Entertainment Commission was unlikely to approve the bout due to Paul having a massive weight advantage over Davis. A request for event permits and rule waivers was scheduled to take place at a GAEC meeting Thursday, but MVP asked for the item to be removed from the agenda.
Now, the fight has a new home. See the official announcement below.
“New city, same mission, seek and destroy the tank,” Paul said in a press release. “Kaseya Center. Friday, November 14. I’m bringing the heat, and Miami will see me take down this angry elf while the world watches live on Netflix.”
Paul, an influencer turned boxer with a 12-1 record, has won six straight fights and is coming off of consecutive wins over Julio Cesar Chavez, Mike Tyson, and Mike Perry.
Davis (30-0-1) recently lost his perfect record when a WBA lightweight title defense against Lamont Roach Jr. ended in a controversial majority draw.
