Inter Milan Lead Juventus In Club Value Derby d’Italia: ‘Gap Set To Widen’

The club value of Inter Milan has overtaken that of Juventus, with the gap only “set to widen.”

In figures released by Football Benchmark through the Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter’s entire club is valued at €1.715 billion; Juventus sit at €1.651 million.

The organisation calculate the estimate through five parameters.

Profitability, popularity, sporting potential, TV rights and stadium ownership all come into play to work out the final amount.

The calculation therefore considers all aspects, including social media following, squad value and salary-to-sales ratio.

Football Benchmark CEO Andrea Sartori said “recent corporate restructure operations suggest significant improvement for Juventus.

However, he added that the gap with Inter will likely widen.

Sartori claims that the Nerazzurri’s improved financial position is a result of several factors.

Firstly, the club have seen a significant growth in UEFA prize money and commercial revenues.

Since 2018-19, Inter have grown stadium revenue by 45% and San Siro often sells out and posts record ticket sales.

Oaktree’s acquisition of the club from Suning has also allowed Inter to restructure their debt and reduce financial expenses.

Compared to the figures from 2024, Inter have grown 20% whilst Juventus have dropped by 3%.

Going further back, in 2016, the Bianconeri was worth over double Inter, with €1 billion compared to just €400 million.

This means Inter have grown by over four times in ten years, whilst the Old Lady have grown by just an extra 50%.
