The relationship between the Indiana Pacers and Indiana Fever is a special one. Just as the Fever supported the Pacers during their run to the NBA Finals, it didn’t take long for Tyrese Haliburton to return the favor on Tuesday night.
The Fever entered Tuesday’s Commissioner’s Cup Final against the Minnesota Lynx without star point guard Caitlin Clark, who missed her third straight game due to a groin injury.
Despite the early deficit, Indiana dominated late in the second quarter and never looked back, cruising to a 74–59 victory. Natasha Howard was named Commissioner’s Cup MVP.
After the win, Haliburton showed his support on social media, posting: “LFG @IndianaFever," which translates to "Let's [explicit] go."

Tyrese Haliburton is in the early stages of rehab after suffering a devastating torn Achilles in the first quarter of Game 7 of the NBA Finals against the Oklahoma City Thunder.
Still, the injury didn’t stop him from tuning in Tuesday night. Over the past few years, Haliburton has become a vocal supporter of his close friend Caitlin Clark and the Fever — who share Gainbridge Fieldhouse with the Pacers.

Tuesday marked the fifth annual Commissioner’s Cup and the Fever’s first-ever midseason title.
Natasha Howard tallied a game-high 16 points, 12 rebounds, and four assists, while Aliyah Boston, Kelsey Mitchell, and Aari McDonald each added 12 points. Sophie Cunningham chipped in 13 off the bench in a well-rounded team effort.
Defensively, the Fever were sharp, holding Lynx superstar and MVP frontrunner Napheesa Collier to just 12 points on 6-of-18 shooting from the field.
Since the Commissioner’s Cup Final does not count toward the regular season standings, the Fever remain 8–8 overall.
They’ll return to action on Thursday in a high-profile matchup against the Las Vegas Aces — a potential return spot for Caitlin Clark, who has now missed a total of eight games this season, including the Commissioner’s Cup.
