Fabian Hurzeler was left fuming after Bournemouth beat Brighton with the help of a controversial goal in the Premier League on Saturday.
Alex Scott gave the Cherries an early lead after firing in a stunning striker from just outside the area in the 18th minute at home.
The visitors hit back shortly after the break through Kaoru Mitoma, who popped up at the back post to head in the equaliser.
Brighton had their opportunities to go in front, but were left to rue their profligacy in front of goal when Jan Paul van Hecke conceded a penalty. The centre-back tripped up Evanilson and Semenyo converted the spot kick to give Bournemouth the win.
“The performance was quite good, we dominated the game, we had chances, we just made the wrong decisions,” Hurzeler admitted to Sky Sports. “The small margins made the difference and we weren’t at highest level.”

The Seagulls were playing with ten men at the time of Scott’s opener. Maxime De Cuyper had to leave the pitch after being shoved into the advertising hoardings by Antoine Semenyo. The defender was replaced by Ferdi Kadioglu shortly afterwards.
“It shouldn’t be like this and then we concede a goal with 10 men so I think it’s not the right thing. Very unlucky but we have to accept it, that’s football,” Hurzeler said.
The German added: “We win together, we lose together. We will analyse it and come back.”
Meanwhile, the Brighton boss believes Jack Hinshelwood suffered a serious injury after he left the field just two minutes after kickoff. “I’m not a doctor so we have to wait for the scan.”
