Former OGC Nice goalkeeper Marcin Bulka suffers ACL injury

Marcin Bulka (25) has only just joined Neom SC, however, his season may already be over, according to a report from L’Équipe.

Bulka left OGC Nice earlier in the summer. He joined Saudi Arabian club Neom in a deal worth over €15m. The Poland International only recently made his debut in a 1-0 loss against Al-Ahli.

Bulka was not called up by Poland for the recent international break and has therefore been training with the Saudi Pro League side during this time.

It is in training that the goalkeeper sustained an ACL injury, as per L’Équipe. The injury could see Bulka rolled out for the entirety of the current season.

Prior to his move to the Gulf State this summer, which came after the Polish goalkeeper’s refusal to sign a contract extension with Le Gym, Bulka had made 89 appearances for Nice – the most he has made for any club, to date.
