Arsenal have been one of the biggest spenders of the summer transfer window and one of their most talked about signing was Viktor Gyokeres' £63m move from Sporting CP.
The Swedish striker has been piling up goals for Sporting in Liga Portugal over the last two seasons and Arsenal fans expect him to translate that form at North London.
Despite all the hype about Gyokeres, he has had a slow start to life in the Premier League as he only scored a brace against newly promoted Leeds United in a 5-0 win but also had forgettable outings against Manchester United and Liverpool.
Even during international duty for Sweden, Gyokeres could only manage an assist from two World Cup qualifiers against Kosovo and Slovenia.
Despite all the skepticism around him, Arsenal defender Ben White has given his vote of confidence to his former teammate.
The two Arsenal stars were at Brighton a few years ago and interestingly they both were loaned out and they eventually ended up at Emirates.

"Yeah, I know Viktor really well, " White told in an interview with The Hayters. "We played together at Brighton for a long time, maybe three or four years, and I could tell even then that he was always destined for greatness. From the moment he came to Brighton, he was brought into the under-21s group and you could see he had something special about him at that age.
"It’s funny how things happen because we both went out on loan at different places, and now of course we’ve ended up at the same place after taking very different paths. I spoke to him a little bit before he signed, but there was a lot going on, so I didn’t want to bother him. All I said to him was that he would love it here, but I think he knew that already."
White lauds Gyokeres' big presence and hunger for goals
Gyokeres has come to North London with an appetite for goals after netting 97 goals in 102 appearances for Sporting across two seasons.

He is a big physical presence near the final third and likes to wrestle defenders off the ball before hammering it home.
White believes he is a 'monster' in front of goal and predicts he will be an Arsenal great in the coming years.
"He’s a monster! He lives for goals doesn’t he? He’s a constant threat. You really don’t want to get in his way when you are playing against him, because he’ll just move you out of the way anyway! He’s such a big presence and I think it will be a massive help that he’s already played in English football.
"You see a lot of people come to the Premier League and they’ve had no taste of what it’s like and it can be a struggle. But for Viktor, he’s well used to it. He played at Coventry, and I played loads of games with him at Brighton. So he’s seen it, he knows what it’s going to be like and what to expect from the defenders."
Despite his prior experience, Gyokeres will take time to settle into a different league whilst playing for a different team. He is gradually trying to adapt to Mikel Arteta's style of play.
He is expected to be in action for the Gunners against Nottingham Forest this Saturday at the Emirates.
