Fresh off a 28-14 win over James Madison, the Louisville football team is enjoying an earlier than usual (also earlier than desired) bye week in week three.
The 2-0 Cardinals will return to action on Saturday, Sept. 20 when they host 1-1 Bowling Green at noon inside Cardinal Stadium. The ACC Network will have the television coverage of the contest.
While the Cardinals’ lackluster performance against JMU didn’t do a ton of damage to Louisville’s national perspective, it did affect the team’s betting odds.
Over at FanDuel, Louisville is now +12500 to win the national championship, down from +10000 a week earlier. If you want to bet U of L to make the College Football Playoff, a yes bet is +490, while a no bet is -750.
Additionally, the Cardinals also have a pair of longshots on FanDuel’s Heisman odds. Quarterback Miller Moss is +7500, while running back Isaac Brown is +30000.
Louisville is receiving votes in both major human polls this week, but had yet to crack the top 25 in 2025.
