AFC contender attempted to make trade with Cowboys for Micah Parsons, per insider

The Dallas Cowboys moved on from former Penn State star Micah Parsons in a deal with the Green Bay Packers.

For the Cowboys, it was a deal that was tough to justify in some sense, but they got one of the better packages they could’ve gotten in return. Reports indicated over the weekend that the Philadelphia Eagles also had an offer out there for Parsons.

Micah Parsons had several suitors

However, there were many other teams interested in trading for him. According to Dianna Russini of The Athletic, there were a few other contenders interested, including the Buffalo Bills.

“The Colts, Panthers, Bills and Patriots all made calls and were told the price: two first-round picks, a significant player, and, of course, a record-setting contract.

“As for everyone else? Potential suitors like the Vikings, Browns, Broncos, Texans, Bengals, Chiefs, Commanders, 49ers, Titans and Rams never engaged. The timing, the haul, and the money were simply too much,” she reported.

Had they traded for Parsons, however, one could likely say that the Bills are by far the favorites in the AFC. They have a great chance to win a Super Bowl, and Parsons would’ve helped with that.
