2027 IOL Kyson Mallard commits to Georgia

Albany (Ga.) Westover three-star interior offensive lineman Kyson Mallard has committed to Georgia, he tells UGASports’ Jed May.

He pledged to the Bulldogs while visiting Athens this weekend and becomes the third member of UGA’s 2027 recruiting class.

Mallard is the No. 388 overall prospect and No. 27 IOL in the 2027 cycle, according to the Rivals Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all major recruiting media companies. He’s also the No. 47 junior in the Peach State.

The likes of Florida, Florida State, Auburn, Georgia Tech and Pitt have offered Mallard, but he’s ready to lock in with head coach Kirby Smart and Co. The Dawgs continue to recruit the trenches well when it comes to in-state linemen.
