Where do lowly Chiefs sit in latest power rankings?

The Kansas City Chiefs managed to secure their first win of the season over the New York Giants on Sunday night, but nothing that transpired gives us any more confidence that this team will turn things around.

The Giants are bad, and the Chiefs, especially in the first half, were a poor watch as Patrick Mahomes and the offense struggled to get anything meaningful going, scoring just nine points. Defensively, we don't have too many concerns, but offensively, there are too many questions that need answering.

But did the Chiefs' win propel them higher in Pete Prisco's latest power rankings for CBS Sports?

Nope, in fact, they dropped down to 12th.

"They might have saved their season with the victory over the Giants on Sunday night, but they still have major problems on offense," Prisco writes. "And here comes the Ravens this week."

Chiefs face huge Ravens test

Who would have thought that coming into Week 4, this Chiefs and Baltimore Ravens contest would pit two 1-2 teams against each other, and the loser of this game will be 1-3. Yeah, not many.

But that is what is facing both AFC heavyweights, and this is uncharted territory for the Chiefs, less so the Ravens after they were 1-2 last season.

Kansas City has the chance to quieten down all the noise surrounding it, and the Ravens, after getting pushed around by the Detroit Lions, will want to put on a show in response to it. Given the state of the division, the Chiefs need this win more than the Ravens, with the 3-0 Los Angeles Chargers beginning to run away with the AFC West.

One of two things will happen against Baltimore for the Chiefs.

Either they will end the narrative around them of the dynasty being over, or it will only confirm that it is with a loss.

Which way will it go? Your guess is as good as mine.
