We found the 15 best Prime Day deals on car vacuums — up to 75% off Black+Decker, Shark and more

It's summer road trip season — is your car ready for all those trips? If dirt and crumbs have invaded the interior, a car vacuum can really come in handy. After all, who among us hasn't been haunted by a backseat covered in a layer of Cheetos dust or a lone McDonald's fry lurking under the floor mat? Thanks to all its nooks and crannies, your car can be difficult to keep clean, and even the best vacuums may be too bulky to help. Prime Day to the rescue! Right now, you can save up to 75% on one of these key cleaning tools.

As Yahoo's resident car vac tester, I know how much these appliances cost — and what makes a good deal. Trust me when I say I've been tracking prices so you can get the best (cleaning) bang for your buck. I'm talking about a 30% discount on our best car vacuum overall and an editor-beloved hand vac for its lowest price ever. Sorry, but you've got no more excuses for a messy ride!

The best Prime Day car vacuum deals

This Amazon No. 1 bestseller will swivel its way into your heart. It has a rotating nozzle and built-in crevice tool for reaching tight spaces like that crumb-filled no-man's-land around the seat belt buckle.

I'll admit I tested a version of this dustbuster and wasn't as impressed with its performance as some of the other machines. But its popularity can't be denied: It has more than 71,000 five-star ratings! And it's currently 20% off.

At over 40% off, this dirt destroyer is down to its best price on record — and that includes the battery and charger (which are often sold separately these days). Our Senior Deals Writer, Britt Ross, has owned the V20 for more than a year and proclaims, "It's the best hand vacuum I've ever used." Talk about an endorsement!

It weighs less than 5 pounds and is easy to operate with just two buttons: one to turn it on/off and another to empty out the dust container. Speaking of dust, this thing is, as Ross puts it, "an absolute beast when it comes to sucking up debris off the floor."

This 20% off deal isn't mind-blowing, but it's a good chance to score one of our top-tested car vacuums for under $20. I named it the "best car vacuum for detailing," thanks to its impressive suction and myriad attachments. Although it was the cheapest car vacuum I tried, it held its own in testing, outperforming models more than double the price.

This gadget would also come in handy if you're constantly on the go and might not remember to charge a device before hitting the road. Unlike most popular car vacs, it plugs into your auto's 12-volt outlet (aka cigarette lighter), so you can use it anytime your car is running. PS, did I mention this nifty little gadget has more than 136,200 five-star ratings?!

I've tested about a dozen car vacs in the past year, and this pick won me over with its compact size yet impressive reach. It was my best car vacuum overall, thanks to its flexible 4-foot hose with a curved nozzle that helped me easily access the tightest, most awkward spaces. For the first time ever, I was able to get alllll the way under the front seats of my car without having to strain my back or crouch down.

When I first tested this dustbuster in 2024, it cost $104 — and even then this sale would be a good deal. Considering the retail price now regularly hovers around $135, it's a slam-dunk.

This vac looks awfully similar to the top-tested ThisWorx, but minus the cord. It includes a crevice tool, brush, extendable hose and HEPA filter, plus an LED headlight, which really comes in handy when you're peering under the passenger seat for wayward crumbs.

A note about the price: It is highly unlikely this hand vac actually retails for $150, so I wouldn't put too much stock in the 73% discount. That said, scoring a cordless vac like this for $40 is a decent deal, and this one gets good reviews.

In my experience, these pocket-sized wand vacs are handy if you deal with just the occasional mess — for example, you spill crumbs from a mostly empty bag of chips (not that I'd know anything about this, ha). The Windone Car Vacuum takes things up a notch, though, because it also serves as a tire inflator with up to 150 psi of air pressure.

Now that it's at its lowest price of the year, it's worth snagging one to keep in your emergency car kit, don't you think?

Got a lot of furry friends hitching a ride? Forget Fido — a hand vac will be man's best friend. This one comes with an upholstery tool/scrubbing brush to help lift embedded hair from upholstery.

At $50 (aka 37% off), this is the lowest price we've seen for this particular model, and a pretty good deal for Shark vacuums overall.

There are loads of cordless car vacs like this out there, but few have such an extensive suite of accessories — and are 43% off. I've yet to test this super sucker, but it's definitely on my radar. Nearly 2,000 five-star ratings don't lie!

"This little Monozel vacuum surprised me in the best way," admitted one initially skeptical shopper. "It’s super lightweight, and the suction power is legit — great for cleaning up crumbs, pet hair, and the mess my kids leave in the car ... The LED light’s a nice touch, and the battery lasts way longer than I expected. Honestly, for quick cleanups around the house, car, or even the office, it’s been perfect."

After testing close to 100 vacuums of all shapes and sizes, we Yahoo home editors are fans of Shark, thanks to the brand's smart designs and solid value. In my testing, this lean, mean machine performed just okay, but I was impressed by its powerful suction, especially for how light it is — just 1.4 pounds.

A year ago, this vac retailed for about $90, but as with many appliances, the price has jumped. So this 20% off deal is pretty solid, and FYI, you can also find discounts on some colors, including dark blue and rose gold.

Maybe you need more intense cleaning power for stains and gunky stuff that's become embedded in your seat upholstery. No judgement, I swear! My recommendation is to get a portable spot cleaner, and this one's a bonafide bargain at 29% off.

More than 7,000 shoppers have given it a five-star rating, including this rave: "Nifty and efficient little machine! Use it for my car, so it’s nice to have something compact!"
