Josh Rourke scored two tries in Wakefield's 44-6 win over Catalans on Saturday
Wakefield Trinity have agreed a new two-year contract extension with full-back Josh Rourke.
He joined from London Broncos ahead of the 2025 season on a one-year deal with the option of a second, but now that has been extended until the end of 2027.
Rourke, 25, has scored three tries in 13 games this season as Wakefield sit in sixth with 10 rounds to go.
"We signed Josh as a back up full-back to Max Jowitt and he has grown to a position where he is really challenging to play on a regular basis," head coach Daryl Powell told the club's official website, external.
"His confidence has grown in his all-round game and I'm looking forward to seeing him develop further as a full-back but also with an ability to play in the centre and on the wing."
