Veteran Edin Dzeko joins Fiorentina

Fiorentina have announced the arrival of veteran striker Edin Dzeko as a reinforcement for the upcoming season.

The 39-year-old former Manchester City man has agreed to a one-year contract with an automatic renewal for another year should certain targets be met. 

Dzeko was most recently at Fenerbahce, where he scored 21 goals and provided eight assists in 53 matches last season.

Before moving to Turkish football, the Bosnian player was in Italy for eight years, where he played for Roma and Inter Milan.
