Trent Alexander-Arnold announces that he is leaving Liverpool

Trent Alexander-Arnold has confirmed that he will leave Liverpool in the summer.

The 26‑year‑old defender has been crucial in the title-winning season and has largely been excellent throughout the campaign.

“After 20 years at Liverpool Football Club, now is the time for me to confirm that I will be leaving at the end of the season,” said Alexander-Arnold.

He is expected to join Real Madrid on a free transfer.
