Maya Brady finished her career with the UCLA Bruins ranked second in career home runs with 71, second in runs batted in with 246, second in total bases with 550 and second in slugging percentage at .757.

Now a member of the Athletes Unlimited Professional Softball League’s first-place Talons, Maya Brady was activated from the injured list and will make her debut on ESPN2 at 8 p.m. ET Wednesday.

Maya Brady is also the niece of former Red Sox star Kevin Youkilis and credits both of her uncles with giving her direction to forge her path as an athlete.

“You can learn so much by just watching them, watching both of their careers,” Maya Brady said according to MLB.com.

“Kevin didn’t marry into our family until a little later into his career so I didn’t get to be a part of that as much, but definitely still watched him in the later years. And then Tommy, my whole life,” Maya Brady added.
