These Prime Day deals on espresso machines will have you buzzing — save up to $500!

If you find yourself spending $5 — or more — on a latte or americano from the coffee shop every day, it's time to invest in a home espresso machine. Even though they can cost a lot upfront, they can save you money in the long run, plus they let you practice your barista skills (latte art, here you come!). We're deep into Amazon Prime Day, making it an, ahem, hot time to buy one of these appliances. Highly rated brands like Breville, Nespresso, Bosch, KitchenAid and De'Longhi are up to 41% off.

Word to the wise: Not all Prime Day sales are actually worth getting out of bed for, thanks to inflated retail prices. So I tracked prices and relied on my knowledge as one of Yahoo's resident home-product testers — who has reviewed dozens of coffee makers — to pinpoint the best of the best. I was excited to find that our top pick for the best espresso machine of 2025 is on sale. Many of the other machines on this list are down to their lowest prices of the year. Check out the deals we found below, and remember to act fast. Prime Day ends after Friday!

The best Prime Day espresso machine deals

I've tested close to 20 single-serve coffee makers in the past year, and this Nespresso machine topped them all for my No. 1 pick. You push just one button to operate it, and there's a built-in mechanism that automatically tosses your used pod into a receptacle built into the machine.

It looks as good as it works too, with a sleek, rounded design that takes up minimal counter space. FYI: Both De'Longhi and Breville make versions of the VertuoPlus, but they share similar specs. The 35% discount on this Breville model brings the price down to its lowest since December.

What can we say about the Barista Express that its 21,000 fans haven't already? Reviewers love it for its easy setup, sleek design and large (67-ounce!) water tank. "I dare say my homemade lattes and espressos now taste even better than Starbucks!" bragged this buyer.

Yahoo editors love it too. We named it our overall pick for the best espresso machines of 2025, praising it for its built-in grinder and beloved status among coffee pros.

Note: While this price isn't an all-time low, it's the lowest it's been since December.

$550 at Amazon

This is the lowest price ever for this little powerhouse of an espresso machine, which came out earlier this year. Though it doesn't have lots of bells and whistles, it brews single and double shots of espresso, and according to shoppers, it does it exceptionally well.

"This machine is a dream! If it broke tomorrow, I'd purchase a new one. Super easy to use, well-made, looks beautiful and impressive, has a much larger water tank than other machines I've owned in the past, so you're not constantly filling it up, and it doesn't have extra unnecessary buttons or a fake pressure gauge. Each button has a function," praised one caffeinated customer.

Italian brand De'Longhi is famous for its top-of-the-line coffeemakers, and at 38% off, the Magnifica Start is one of the best espresso machine deals we've seen this Prime Day. It comes with a built-in conical burr grinder and five preset recipes (including for a cappuccino and latte macchiato), so you can play barista like a pro. Bellissima!

Many espresso machines come with milk frothers, but reviewers really love this one: "The milk frother makes such amazingly smooth and velvety foam, better than any other brand I’ve tried," wrote one shopper. "The milk frothing is just as good as a store-bought cappuccino," raved another.

This Bosch has been slashed a steamy 25% exclusively for Prime members. I like how clear the machine's display is — it makes choosing your type of drink, coffee strength and milk-to-coffee ratio easy. Shoppers also praise its quiet operation, so you can get your caffeine fix without worrying about waking up everyone in the house.

Said one fan: "I've owned several super-automatic espresso/coffee machines, and I’ve got to say — this Bosch 800 Series VeroCafe is one of the best, if not the best. The coffee quality is top-notch — smooth, rich and full of flavor. Unlike many other super-automatics, this one actually lets you make a larger cup without sacrificing quality."

Did you know Mr. Coffee doesn't do just drip coffee makers? The brand also makes a pretty impressive semi-automatic espresso machine, which is currently marked down by 15%. True, it's not a huge price drop, but it makes this already affordable appliance a bit more within reach.

The automatic milk frother is a nice touch typical of a pricier machine, and the control panel is easy to understand. Just ask any of the 9,820+ Amazon shoppers who have give it a five-star rating. "Easily one of the best espresso makers you can get for the price. Have had ours for over six years as of now, and my wife loves it," wrote one longtime fan. "It is a pretty 'entry' level espresso maker but makes great espresso."

If you're intimidated by making espresso at home, this machine is what you want: It guides you through the process on its touch screen, as if you had a barista in the kitchen with you! The built-in conical burr grinder has 30 settings, so you can get your beans as coarse or fine as you like. One newer feature is an alternative milk setting that calibrates air-injection time and temperature, so your almond-milk foam tastes as rich and silky as if you were using regular dairy.

According to our price trackers, this machine usually hovers around $1,200, so this 33% discount brings it down to one of its lowest prices of the year. Shoppers agree it's worth the spend: "Makes creating espresso drinks very easy. The machine guides you every step of the way and produces flat whites that are better than my local Starbucks. I love it. The only trouble is I’m drinking too much coffee now!" wrote one well-caffeinated customer.

You won't find a better price on this No. 1 bestselling super-automatic espresso machine, which has been marked down 38%. I like how clear the display is — it makes choosing your type of drink, coffee strength and even level of milk froth easy.

Speaking of milk, this machine uses Philips' LatteGo system, which promises extra-silky, creamy froth. Reviewers found the frother easy to use and clean, and overall, they liked how straightforward the machine is once you play around with it a few times.

Said one fan: "As a coffee novice who loves lattes and espressos, this coffee maker has been a game-changer for me. No more juggling multiple tools – this all-in-one machine delivers delicious beverages quickly and effortlessly. While there was a slight learning curve to master all the options and cleaning processes, the overall experience has been delightful."

A Nespresso for $100? This isn't something you see every day. Right now, the cheerful Vertuo Pop+ is at its lowest price of the year — and in the most summery, on-trend color, at that. Who doesn't want a splash of green in their kitchen these days?

You can brew five cup sizes (including regular coffee, not just espresso shots), and at less than 9 inches wide and about 10 inches tall, this machine would easily tuck away in a corner of your counter. I've tested several Nespresso machines and have liked them all, but one of the big drawbacks, in my opinion, was the price. This sale makes nabbing one of these single-serve brewers more doable.

A fully automatic machine from De'Longhi, this one is an Amazon No. 1 bestseller and is price-slashed by nearly 40%, matching its lowest price ever. It has seven preset drink options and 13 grind settings, so you can make your beans as fine or coarse as you like.

This machine is very similar to the Magnifica Start, but it typically costs about $100 more. And right now, the Magnifica Evo is selling for $550 to the Start's $500, so if you're focused on a bargain, this might be the way to go. Just note that the reviews for the Start are slightly better, though fans commend the Evo for how easy it is to clean and its reliable, balanced espresso shots.

The retro styling of this espresso machine belies its techy features, including an LCD display that guides you through the coffee-making process so you can be your own barista. It's a Nespresso machine, so you have to use the brand's Original Line pods, but in my opinion, that makes things even easier: Just pop in the capsule you want and let 'er rip! Then use the attached milk frother to add a silky layer of foam.

A 41% discount brings this machine down to its lowest price ever, according to our trackers.
