'The Summer I Turned Pretty' drops new trailer for final 3 episodes, revealing what happens to Belly in Paris

The Summer I Turned Pretty just dropped the official trailer for the final three episodes of the series. With the beloved Prime Video series now being off-book, the trailer, released on Friday, finally gives fans a taste of what’s to come.

Based on Jenny Han’s bestselling novels of the same name, the hit series follows protagonist Isabel “Belly” Conklin (Lola Tung) as she comes of age, all while navigating a perilous love triangle with brothers Conrad (Chris Briney) and Jeremiah Fisher (Gavin Casalegno).

Soundtracked to Ellie Goulding’s “Anything Could Happen,” the one-minute trailer appears to be set entirely in Paris. The final three episodes, it seems, pick up immediately after Belly and Jeremiah call off their wedding. Needing an escape, Belly hops on a plane to the City of Love, where she embarks on a solo journey.

“I had these pillars in my life. Cousins, my family, Taylor, Jer,” Belly narrates in the trailer. “They made me feel like I was safe. Like I was on solid ground, and now they’re gone. And it’s just me.”

A series of Belly-focused moments flash in the trailer — of her alone as she resolves to find herself again, running down streets with friends we’ve yet to meet, getting photographed by a mystery man and reuniting with her best friend, Taylor (Rain Spencer). But at the trailer’s end, Belly receives an unexpected letter in the mail from none other than Conrad.

So, what exactly is going to happen? Based on the trailer, anything.
