On Instagram on July 2, Reed posted photos from recent Texas A&M media, captioning them with a series of locations: "C-Stat," New York, and Miami. He followed the trio, writing, "Time to write this chapter."

Chancellor Johnson asked Reed what the locations in his caption meant, to which he responded, “C-Stat, New York, Miami . . . I put them there for a reason."

C-Stat, or College Station, is obviously referring to Aggieland and, for purposes of his caption, the 2025 regular season. Jazz at Lincoln Center's Appel Room in Manhattan is where the Heisman Trophy ceremony takes place — in New York. The CFP national championship game in 2026 will take place at the home of the NFL's Miami Dolphins, Hard Rock Stadium.

The young quarterback has clear intentions for his second season as an Aggie, and that's not only making it to the championship game but winning the Heisman Trophy. At the moment, according to ESPN BET, Texas A&M odds are +3500 to win the CFP title. It's 12th highest odds to win the championship game. As for Reed and his Heisman hopes, he has the 15th highest odds at +4000.

In 2024-25, he had 147 completions out of 240 attempts for 1,864 yards. Reed recorded 15 passing touchdowns and six interceptions as well. The road to the Heisman won't be easy, and he has six SEC quarterbacks to beat according to the odds. First, though, he has to prove himself at College Station. Then he can focus on step two.
