Jan-Lennard Struff will be the first player in action for Germany in the final qualification round of the Davis Cup as he faces Japan's Yoshihito Nishioka on Friday.
On the same day, Yannick Hanfmann take on Shintaro Mochizuki.
On Saturday, Kevin Krawietz and Tim Pütz face Yosuke Watanuki and Takeru Yusuki in the doubles matches, while Struff v Mochizuki and Hanfmann v Nishioka complete the schedule.
The Germany squad also includes 17-year-old Justin Engel, who replaced Daniel Altmaier after he got injured at the US Open last month.
World number three Alexander Zverev won't be available for the matches against Japan due to a full ATP tour schedule in August and September.
The winners of the match-up qualify for the Davis Cup finals in Bologna on November 18-23.
