The past few weeks have been an eventful time for Simone Biles, and it just keeps getting better.
In late April, Biles made headlines after she was honored at the Laureus World Sports Awards and TIME100 gala, receiving the Sportswoman of the Year honor and Impact Award, respectively.
Then, early this May, she was seen attending the Kentucky Derby and the 2025 Met Gala with her husband, Chicago Bears safety Jonathan Owens. The two even trended online for their matching and coordinated outfits in both events.
On Monday, Biles turned a lot of heads once again, this time for delivering a commencement speech at Washington University in St. Louis. The 11-time Olympic medalist shared the news on social media, along with the fact that she had been granted an honorary Doctor of Humane Letters.
"it’s Dr. Biles to you," Biles wrote. "but in all seriousness ,thank you @washu for allowing me to do the commencement speech! Congrats to all the Graduates. Truly inspiring! Good luck with all your future endeavors!!"
Aside from the plethora of fans who congratulated her for her latest personal achievement, several others couldn't help but give her a new nickname: "Dr. GOAT."
"DR. GOATTTTTT!!!!" a commenter wrote. Another one said, "It’s Dr. GOAt."
"babe wake up, Dr. GOAT Biles just posted," a hyped supporter added.

"Dr GOAT," a fifth social media user stated.
Many other followers called the legendary Olympian "Dr. Biles," further highlighting her achievement.

As reported earlier, the honorary Doctor of Humane Letters that Biles received is given "to those who have distinguished themselves in areas other than science, government, literature or religion."
It remains to be seen what's next for Biles, but sure enough, Dr. GOAT is on quite a roll.
