Shedeur Sanders Announces Super Bowl Goal to Browns Fans

The former Colorado star has a very lofty goal in mind for his time with the Cleveland Browns.

The Cleveland Browns ended the massive slide of Shedeur Sanders when they took him with the 144th pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.

As a result, the young quarterback wants to show his gratitude.

Sanders recently visited John Marshall High School in Cleveland, where he met with the kids and answered whatever questions they had for him. In one of his answers, he revealed his eventual goal with the Browns.

"I'm trying to bring Cleveland a Super Bowl," Sanders said. "But off the field, I want to bring more hope and positivity to the city, and connecting with young people is one of the best ways to do that."

Sanders is already off to a good start with connecting with young people, but it is the first part of his statement that might be a little tougher.

The Browns have never won a Super Bowl since the merger of the NFL and the AFL in 1970, which garnered it what many refer to as the "Super Bowl Era." Having a goal like this is huge, as no other quarterback in the team's history has been able to even make it to the Super Bowl.

Sanders is one of the most talked-about players in football right now, and most of those people talking about him are doubters. What is one thing that will make all of those people stop doubting?

Winning a Super Bowl.

Others may view this as a continuation of the show of cockiness from Deion Sanders’ son that likely caused Shedeur’s infamous from from being a possible first-round pick in the NFL Draft to coming to Cleveland in Round 5.

And then there is the fact that he’s basically a fifth-string QB right now.

But …

While it may be a bit of a lofty goal, it is a good one for any player to have … even Sanders given his current situation.
