US retailer Sedano’s Supermarkets has partnered Relex Solutions to enhance its pricing strategies and promotional activities, and elevate the overall customer shopping experience across its Florida stores.
The move will see Sedano's transition from manual to AI-powered analytics to analyse purchasing patterns and market trends, supporting demand-aware pricing strategies.
The Relex unified pricing and promotions solution will enable the retailer to set competitive prices, forecast promotional impacts and align with business objectives. This will maximise sales and profitability while allowing for regional customisation.
Sedano’s Supermarkets chief marketing officer Javier Herran stated:“Relex will help us align our pricing and promotions with what our customers truly want, ensuring we remain competitive in a challenging retail environment while honouring our commitment to providing authentic products at fair prices.”
Managed through intuitive dashboards, the platform provides real-time insights for swift, informed decisions.
By transitioning from spreadsheets to a unified planning platform, Sedano’s will benefit from improved margin performance and competitive pricing. The solution will also support accurate sales and profit lift forecasting.
Headquartered in Miami-Dade County, Sedano's employs 3,000 associates and operates 32 stores.
Relex Solutions chief revenue officer Frank Lord stated: “The unified pricing and promotions solution will provide Sedano's with the advanced tools needed to optimise their strategies, drive measurable value and improve customer satisfaction across their operations. We are committed to helping Sedano’s sharpen their competitiveness through pragmatic, data-driven retail planning solutions.”
In May 2025, US musical instruments retailer Guitar Center engaged with Relex Solutions to improve its inventory allocation and replenishment processes for its stores.
