If you're still waiting for that water to boil or watching your drip coffee maker slowly torture you while you struggle to keep your eyes open, it's Keurig to the rescue. You'll get your caffeine fix in under a minute with the K-Elite coffee maker, which is down to $100 — that's a piping-hot 52% off! — during Amazon Prime Day. One of the many Prime Day kitchen sales popping up this week, this discount brings the machine to within a few dollars of its lowest price of the year. It's one of a few Keurig styles currently on sale, and it also happens to be one of our top-tested Keurig coffee makers. After comparing more than a dozen single-serve coffee makers over the past year, I can confidently say the K-Elite produces an impressively strong cup of joe. Feeling the buzz yet?
Rise and grind! Just kidding, no need to grind anything when you have this Keurig on your counter. Just choose your cup size (4, 6, 8, 10 or 12 ounces) and your brew will be ready in no time.
Why is it a good Prime Day deal? 💰
When I first tested this machine about a year ago, it retailed for $190, but like many appliances, the price has increased. Even back in 2024, buying the K-Elite for $100 would be a good score, but now that the retail price is higher, this deal is even more valuable. It's currently a whopping 52% off, bringing it to within a few dollars of the lowest price of the year.
Why do I need this? 🤔
This pod coffee maker is simple to use and easy to clean. Though it's clunkier than other Keurig machines, it brews one of the smoothest, most flavorful mugs of K-Cup coffee I tried in my testing. It also gives you more options: five cup sizes (4, 6, 8, 10 or 12 ounces), plus a "strong" brew button for a more concentrated drink, a setting for brewing over ice and a hot-water button. You can even control the water temperature, from 187° and 192°F.
Great for getting out of the house quickly in the morning, this single-serve wonder will brew whatever hot beverage you fancy in less than a minute — your favorite flavors, decaf, tea, you name it. Just pop in a K-cup, select your mug size and brew. The water tank holds 75 ounces, so you and your whole fam can get their octane without having to refill with each serving.
If you're like me and don't love the waste that comes with a single-use coffee maker (all those plastic pods, which aren't always easy to recycle!), know that Keurig has made some strides toward a more sustainable machine. The K-Elite can accommodate the brand's dishwasher-safe reusable filter, which you fill with grounds. It's sold separately, but I paid only $8 for mine, a worthy investment.
Unlike many single-serve coffee makers, the K-Elite lets you customize your brew. (Amazon)
What reviewers say 💬
The ratings don't lie: Amazon shoppers love this machine. More than 54,000 have given it a five-star rating.
Pros 👍
"And Keurig for the win. I like hot tea, my daughter likes cappuccino, my wife likes something else! The only way to get there is by using a Keurig. Everyone has their favorite coffee pod," wrote a satisfied sipper.
"Took a couple minutes to get the hang of the controls, but it was easy to navigate," noted one convert. "Nice-looking device and holds a lot of water so doesn't have to be filled as often as the previous one. Seems to heat up pretty quickly as well, so less waiting."
"Great upgrade from our last machine. Especially love the 'strong' brew option — it’s slower to brew when I use it, but it makes a great cup of coffee. Love being able to make different amounts as well. Highly recommend!" raved a final caffeinated customer.
Cons 👎
In my testing, I didn't love the narrow water reservoir, which is hard to remove and clean. This threw off some reviewers, as well.
As this mostly pleased shopper put it, "Great replacement for our original Keurig, [which] had a great, large spot for ginormous mugs when the insert was removed. The new model has a removable drip holder, but the mug holder is small. The removable water reservoir is not as easy to take off or put back, especially if the Keurig is on a pod holder. Otherwise, great quiet coffee maker."
"It definitely looks good on my granite countertops, brews fast and heats up quicker than my old machine," added a customer. "That said, the water reservoir feels a bit small, and the flashing buttons have a dated vibe — feels like we took a little time-travel back to the early 2000s. It’s a fine machine and I’m sure I’ll get plenty of years of use out of it, but I do wish Keurig had kept advancing with the design and functionality like they did with the 2.0."
Did we mention this baby also comes in brushed gold? Buy it to add a little dazzle to your day.
