Samuel Kalu signs with Botev Plovdiv

The Bulgarian club Botev Plovdiv has officially announced the arrival of Samuel Kalu. The Nigerian winger becomes the 17th summer signing for the “Canaries” and has signed a long-term contract.

At 28 years old, Kalu boasts an impressive career. He has played for Watford in the Premier League, Bordeaux in Ligue 1, as well as Lausanne, Trenčín, and Gent. He has also competed in both the Champions League and the Europa League.

A Nigerian international, he has earned 17 caps for the Super Eagles, scoring one goal.
