Bluedot, an EV fleet management company, has partnered with Rivian to enhance the latter's Mobile Service fleet operations by streamlining their electric vehicle (EV) charging experience.
This collaboration leverages Bluedot's technology to simplify the charging process, providing unified access to chargers, good tracking, and automated reimbursement capabilities, thereby supporting Rivian's commitment to exceptional service.
Bluedot said its partnership with Rivian highlights the role of fleet management innovation in accelerating the broader electrification movement.
Bluedot CEO Ferhat Babacan said: "Our mission is simple: Make charging EV fleets effortless and efficient. Collaborating with Rivian aligns perfectly with our vision to remove friction from EV fleet management.
"Rivian’s service fleet now spends less time navigating charging complexities and more time doing what they do best—delivering outstanding customer service."
In addition to this collaboration, Rivian Automotive is planning to build a $120m supplier park near its EV manufacturing plant in Normal, Illinois, US.
This development will streamline material supply processes for Rivian’s EV production and is expected to create nearly 100 direct Rivian positions.
In February, Rivian Automotive reported its first quarterly gross profit of $170m for Q4 2024, a significant improvement from a $606m loss in the same quarter the previous year.
The turnaround was attributed to better variable costs, revenue per delivered unit, and fixed costs management.
Bluedot's technology is transforming how EV fleets charge, manage, and operate.
Its all-in-one platform simplifies public, home, and workplace charging with intelligent routing, automated reimbursement, and fraud prevention tools, empowering fleet operators to reduce costs, save time, and accelerate electrification.
"Rivian’s service fleet charging enhanced by Bluedot technology" was originally created and published by Just Auto, a GlobalData owned brand.
