Today’s (Sept. 20) AEW All Out pay-per-view in Toronto featured a trios match with The Hurt Syndicate taking on Ricochet & GOA.

During their entrance, the AEW commentary team made sure fans knew that Ricochet’s crew has a new name: The Demand.

The Demand were underdogs heading into this one, at least in kayfabe, especially after the beating that MVP, Bobby Lashley, and Shelton Benjamin put on them at September to Remember. MVP was back in the ring here for one of his rare matches in AEW, and he was still ballin’.

Even though MVP had his moment there, he stood out as the weak link of The Hurt Syndicate. At one point it looked like Bob had the match won with the spear, but Ricochet made the save with a 450 splash. Soon after that, The Demand worked together to isolate MVP, and Ricochet put him away with the Spirit Gun for the three count.

So not only do Ricochet and GOA now have a new name in AEW, but they also have a win over The Hurt Syndicate. Is the next step to go after the AEW world trios championship?
