Report – Inter Milan Want Ex AC Milan Star’s Future Decided By Start Of Preseason Training

Inter Milan want a decision on the future of midfielder Hakan Calhanoglu before the start of preseason training.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews.

Rumours about the future of Inter Milan midfielder Hakan Calhanoglu have reached a fever pitch.

The basic outline of the transfer saga is now well-known.

Galatasaray want to sign Calhanoglu. However, while they can offer him big wages, they are reluctant to meet Inter’s asking price.

Meanwhile, Calhanoglu reportedly wants the move. Particularly after Nerazzurri captain Lautaro Martinez all but called him out for flirting with Galatasaray.

It is still up in the air whether Galatasaray will actually make the decisive move and come to Inter with an acceptable offer for Calhanoglu.

But the Nerazzurri don’t want to wait forever. They can’t have this uncertainty for the rest of the summer.

Therefore, according to the Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter are keen to sort things out before preseason training starts.

If Calhanoglu is going to go, Inter want to get it done quickly and move for a replacement. In that respect, Atalanta’s Ederson is reportedly the priority.

And if Calhanoglu is going to stay then Inter will be keen to have him reintegrated into the squad by the time preparations for next season start in a little over two weeks.
