Report – Chivu To Go With Same Inter Milan Starting XI Vs Fluminense As In Clash Vs River Plate

Cristian Chivu will reportedly go with the same Inter Milan starting eleven against Fluminense as he had against River Plate.

This according to Italian outlet FCInter1908. They report that Francesco Pio Esposito will once again start for the Nerazzurri.,

Inter Milan take on Brazilian giants Fluminense in the Club World Cup round of sixteen this Monday.

The Nerazzurri booked their place in the knockouts by topping their group. They drew against Monterrey before beating Urawa Red Diamonds and River Plate.

The win over River Plate was arguably the most convincing performance from Inter in the group stage.

Therefore, Nerazzurri coach Cristian Chivu will reprise the same starting eleven.

That means that the 44-year-old will line his team up in the 3-5-2 shape, rather than continuing his experimentations with a 3-4-2-1 formation.

Meanwhile, young striker Francesco Pio Esposito will get another chance to impress in the starting eleven.
