Pumas could be left without a goalkeeper!

Just days before the start of the Apertura 2025, news is shaking things up inside Pumas, specifically regarding the goalkeeper position.

According to information from the Spanish outlet Estadio Deportivo, Alex Padilla could leave the university team earlier than expected by decision of Athletic Club.

The Spanish club would request the return of their goalkeeper due to advanced negotiations with Valencia for the loan of Julen Agirrezabala.

Although Padilla’s loan to Pumas ends in June 2026, a clause in the contract states that the owner of his rights can request his return ahead of schedule.
