Edon Zhegrova is ‘proud’ to have joined Juventus, but admits he still needs to recover full fitness: ‘I’ll be able to play very soon.’
Zhegrova joined Juventus on a permanent transfer from Lille on deadline day and was unveiled at a press conference at the Allianz Stadium in Turin on Thursday.

“I’m very happy and proud, the first days have been great,” the Kosovo international said, via Ilbianconero.com.
Zhegrova has reunited with his former Lille teammate Jonathan David, who had joined Juventus on a free transfer at the beginning of the summer transfer window.
“The club convinced me. I’ve always wanted to join a big club, and the project persuaded me,” Zhegrova continued.
“I know David, I know he has quality, and the team has quality as well. I think I can contribute.
“I was happy about their interest the first time I spoke to Comolli and Chiellini. It was a dream coming true.”
The 26-year-old hasn’t played a competitive match since December 2024 because of an adductor injury, but is confident that he’ll be available for selection soon.

“I’ve had a difficult period physically, but I feel better now,” he admitted.
“I’ve started working again to get in top shape, and the staff is helping me. I think I’ll be ready and able to play very soon.”
This means he won’t be available on Saturday when Juventus host their rivals Inter at the Allianz Stadium in Serie A Round 3.
“I won’t be part of the match yet; I still need to work. I know the importance of the game and I’ll support the team,” Zhegrova said.
The talented winger already faced Juventus a year ago in a 1-1 Champions League draw between the Old Lady and Lille.
“When I played against them, it was always great and an opportunity to show our worth. That era is over now. I’m happy to be here, and everyone is making this transition easy. I’m glad to be part of it and I can’t wait.”
