Potomac Valley Mudcats lose first, falling to Carmichaels, 4-3, in extras

CARMICHAELS, Pa. — The Potomac Valley Mudcats’ 12-game winning streak came to an end Tuesday, falling to the Carmichaels Copperheads, 4-3, in extra innings.

Potomac Valley fell to 12-1 but remains atop the Fayette County Baseball League standings. Carmichaels, which lost to the Mudcats, 3-2, on June 22, is second with a 10-1 mark.
