A surprising WWE name appeared on Wednesday's episode of "TNA iMPACT" unannounced.
TNA is on the road to "Under Siege 2025," which will take place at CAA Centre in Ontario on May 23. During Wednesday's episode of "TNA iMPACT," Santino Marella told Cody Deaner that he can extend his contract through the upcoming pay-per-view event.
This led to "WWE NXT" star Robert Stone making his stunning return on TNA programming. Stone, formerly known as Robbie E during his first run with TNA, wasn't alone. He was joined by Victoria Crawford, who performed as Alicia Fox under the WWE banner.
Stone revealed that TNA management has put him in charge of watching over Marella. He suggested that Marella has lost control of the TNA locker room. Stone even pulled some strings to give Crawford a TNA Knockouts Championship match against Masha Slamovich at "Under Siege."
It's another surprise as part of TNA Wrestling's relationship with WWE. We've already seen the likes of Trick Williams and Oba Femi appear on "TNA iMPACT." TNA stars such as Joe Hendry have made their presence felt on WWE TV.
With Stone's return to TNA TV, it appears the company is starting a power struggle storyline. Crawford is Stone's assistant, and she's been tasked with keeping tabs on Marella's shortcomings.
Stone's character is far different from what longtime TNA fans remember. During his time as Robbie E, Stone played a character that was inspired by "The Jersey Shore." In 2025, he is a heel authority figure.
