Patrick Mahomes' Mom Shares Major Life Update on Monday

Fresh off a franchise-record 15-2 regular-season in 2024, the Kansas City Chiefs marched confidently through the AFC before overcoming the Buffalo Bills, 32-29, in the AFC Championship Game. 

Their quest for an unprecedented "three-peat" fell just short with a 40-22 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LIX, yet they remain one of the NFL’s elite franchises. 

At the heart of this modern dynasty stands quarterback Patrick Mahomes, the face of the franchise since taking over in 2018. 

However, on Monday, it was his mother, Randi Mahomes, who stole headlines as she celebrated her brand-new Texas home. 

Posting on X, Randi Mahomes wrote, "My heart is so full. Yesterday, my friends and family came together to bless my new home. We laughed, we prayed, we shared memories I’ll hold onto forever. Thank you to everyone who made the day so special. ♥️."

A two-time NFL MVP and three-time Super Bowl MVP, Mahomes completed 5,097 passing yards and 50 touchdowns in his first year as a starter, joining Peyton Manning as the only quarterbacks to throw for 5,000+ yards and 50+ touchdowns in a season.

Since then, he has earned six Pro Bowl nods, three Super Bowl rings and a placement in conversations about the greatest quarterbacks of all time.

Behind every superstar quarterback, however, is a support system, and for Patrick, that begins at home with his mother, Randi. 

Born Randi Martin in Troup, Texas, she was married to former MLB pitcher Pat Mahomes, Sr. in the 1990s but divorced in 2006.

This gift was a joint surprise in late March from Patrick, his wife Brittany and his brother Jackson. 

The newly constructed home, valued at approximately $825,000, ensures his mother enjoys the fruits of her unwavering support.
