Patrick Mahomes' Mom Has 'Priceless' Reaction to Chiefs QB's Post

Kansas City Chiefs star quarterback Patrick Mahomes received a heartfelt message from his mother, Randi Mahomes, after being inducted into the Texas High School Football Hall of Fame this weekend.

The proud mom commented on her son’s Instagram post that captured the special moment. Patrick Mahomes posted photos from the ceremony, including one where he held up his Whitehouse High School football jersey and others showing him with his wife Brittany Mahomes, his parents and sister.

“Priceless moment!” Randi Mahomes commented. “I know the hard work it has taken. So proud son. I love you.”

This Hall of Fame induction, which took place in Waco, Texas, honored Patrick Mahomes along with other notable former players, including Robert Griffin III. Mahomes’ journey from small-town Texas to three-time Super Bowl champion and two-time NFL MVP has made him a hero in both his hometown and across the football world.

As part of the event, Patrick Mahomes also announced a new partnership with Adidas. Through his initiative called Team Mahomes, he will support 15 high school football programs, including his alma mater. Each school will receive custom uniforms featuring Patrick Mahomes’ Gladiator logo.

“Whitehouse, Texas is where it all began,” Patrick Mahomes shared. “It’s an honor to be inducted into the Texas High School Football Hall of Fame. This is just the beginning.”

Randi Mahomes, who was there to celebrate, also shared a full post on her Instagram, posing with the family in formal wear. She praised Patrick Mahomes for his journey from playing under Friday night lights to standing among football legends. 

“So incredibly proud of Patrick,” she wrote. “Grateful for every moment and every memory that got him here.”

While Patrick Mahomes continues to prepare for his ninth NFL season, his mom’s reaction served as a reminder that behind every great player is a strong support system. 

With more records to break and games to win, Patrick Mahomes has no plans of slowing down. But moments like this show that the support of family remains one of his biggest wins yet.
