Optimist, Mettiki roll in rec league; Outdoor Power, Flintstone win Hot Stove games

LONACONING — Cumberland Optimist racked up 15 hits to roll to a 12-2 victory over American Woodmark in a five-inning senior rec league game Tuesday at Westmar Middle.

Kyran Freeman led Optimist going 3 for 4 with two doubles and two RBIs, Clay Bailey was 3 for 4 with three RBIs, Gage Swain singled three times, Layne Zacot and Mason Bennett both doubled, Trevin Cox had two singles, and Dakota Shambaugh drove in a pair.
