The South African Weather Service (SAWS) has issued multiple warnings for Saturday, including yellow-level alerts for damaging winds, and waves, particularly along the coast and in the Northern Cape.
Impact-based warnings
Yellow Level 2 warning: Damaging waves resulting in difficulty in navigation and small vessels taking on water and capsizing within the locality are expected along the coast between Cape Point and Plettenberg Bay.
Yellow Level 2 warning: Damaging winds and waves resulting in difficulty in navigation and small vessels taking on water and capsizing within the locality are expected along the coast between Plettenberg Bay and Port Edward.
A Yellow Level 1 warning: Damaging winds resulting in localised problems for high-sided vehicles on prone routes, power and communication interruption, and reduced visibility due to dust storms are expected over the Richtersveld, Nama-Khoi and Kamiesberg municipalities of the Northern Cape from Saturday into Sunday.

Eastern half of the Eastern Cape: Fine and cold over the interior with morning frost north of the escarpment. It will be cloudy along the coast with light rain in places.
The wind along the coast will be moderate south westerly becoming light in the afternoon.
KwaZulu-Natal: Morning fog patches in the west, otherwise partly cloudy and cold to cool. Isolated showers and rain are expected along the coast and adjacent interior.
The wind along the coast will be fresh to strong southerly to south-westerly, becoming moderate from the south by late afternoon.
