New world record: Messi’s Barça card sold for a staggering sum 🤑

A fan - who did not have their name revealed - paid 1.5 million dollars (R$ 8 million at the current exchange rate) for the card.

Messi beat the record of Pelé - who had a card sold in 2022 for $1.33 million (R$ 7.1 million).

The Messi card (produced by Panini Mega Cracks) is from 2004/05 - the star's debut season at Barça.

Messi, now 38 years old, made history at Barcelona, accumulated titles (like four Champions League) and became one of the greatest players in history.
