The Oklahoma City Thunder are currently at home facing off against the Indiana Pacers in Game 5 of the NBA Finals.
Oklahoma City entered Monday’s game looking to use their home court to their advantage as they try to grab a 3-2 series lead with a victory.
Early on, it looked as though it was going to be an easy victory for the Thunder as they led by 10 at the end of the first quarter and then increased their advantage to 14 points at halftime.
Despite this, the Pacers have been able to stick around as they have made a comeback in the third quarter to keep the game within reach.
Jalen Williams has led the way for the Thunder and he will be a key reason for their victory in Game 5 if they are able to pull it out.
So far, Williams has recorded 29 points, six rebounds, four assists, one steal and one block in the game.
With Williams scoring 25 points in Monday’s game, he also made NBA Finals history.
During Game 5, the NBA announced on social media that Williams is just the fifth player under 25 years old over the last 40 seasons to score 25 or more points in three consecutive NBA Finals games.
He joined some elite company by doing so as the other four players are Kyrie Irving, Kevin Durant, Dwyane Wade and Shaquille O’Neal.
This is an incredible feat by Williams as he has put together an incredible series thus far as he has continued to build off his All-Star season.

Of course, Williams broke out this season as he was named an All-Star for the first time and also made the All-NBA Third Team and All-Defensive Second Team.
With Williams, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Chet Holmgren leading the way, the Thunder will now look to close out Game 5 with a victory on their home court and have a chance to clinch the title in Game 6 on Thursday night.
