The Celtics and Knicks will face off in the postseason for the first time since 2013 after New York rallied for a series win Thursday night in Detroit. The Knicks pulled off a grueling 4-2 series win with a comeback victory against the Pistons in Game 6, securing a spot in the second round against the defending champions.

The Celtics will be heavy favorites for the matchup after pulling off a season sweep against their division rivals in the regular season including three double-digit victories.
